PENANG - How to go! Tips to get to Dewan TH, Bayan Lepas.

For your info im currently in the state of jiwa kacau
and ghaplah jingga..This morning i woke up with
my heart pounding and despite being such an otai
girl, today i officially succumb to a nervous
breakdown..
my wedding is less than a week a way and I am
REALLY REALLY REALLY flattered and I
appreciate the efforts so many of you,my friends
are putting in planning the trip all the way up north
to Penang.
I have been receiving many calls from frens asking
on how to get to the wedding reception.
Here let me give you some tips:
Venue: Dewan Kompleks Tabung Haji, Bayan
Lepas. Penang Island.
FROM KL:
Option 1:
Take a flight : youll be flying from KLIA to Bayan
Lepas International Airport for 40 mins.
Then, take a cab, kata kat pakcik driver tu (slang
penang digalakkan) " saya nak pi Kompleks
Tabung Haji!!"
Its only 5-10 min drive away from the airport.
Harga tiket flight sila rujuk samada airline tu ada
pakai consultant mat salleh atau tidak.
Option 2:
Take a bus: From Pudu, take any express bus to
PULAU PINANG. Bear in mind Penang has got 2
parts, one the island, second the mainland.
DO NOT take the bus to Butterworth, Penang, coz
then youll need to naik feri etc etc
In Penang, the bus will stop at a new bus station
at TAPAK PESTA,SG NIBONG.
From the bus station, wave a cab and repeat above
sentence. I recommend you dont bother about the
public bus, you’ll smell funny and lost your
appetite once you reach my kenduri.
Drive from Sg Nibong to B.Lepas is 20-30 min.
Harga tiket bas express rm28.00. Harga teksi, try
to look and sound local for best rate. CABS IN
PENANG DONT USE THE METER.
Option 3:
Drive yourself there:
I recommend this a lot for those wanna go holiday
on the Island.
From KL, if you take PLUS highway, Samivellu will
charge you RM50 one way (inclusive bridge toll).
That means, to and fro youll be spending RM100
on toll. Petrol for your car; I dont know how a
BMW consumes gas, and I dont know what car
you guys drive but my GEN2 1.6A uses only
rm60-70per trip. So return gas consumption is
about RM120-140.
With your car, youll get to explore the whole island
after or before the wedding, after all its a holiday!!!

no in the invitation card), because i will be busy
well…. being a bride…sigh
